Psychotherapy

My Practice

I work as an Integrative Psychotherapist which means I use information from different psychological theories as well as neuroscience research to help me support young people from 3 - 17 years old.

Children and young people come weekly to explore their thoughts and feelings and make sense of their past experiences and how they might affect their life now.

We can chat about their thoughts and feelings and also often use art materials and play as useful ways to explore thoughts and feelings without having to use words.

What is

psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a way of exploring conscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings - this can be helpful as a way of understanding how we feel about ourselves and our relationships with other people.

Therapy gives a young person the opportunity to understand and process these feelings which helps them feel less overwhelmed and troubled.

This can lead to more comfortable relationships, a fulfilling school life and increased confidence and self-esteem.
